I’bini (Pty) Ltd is an autonomous, black empowerment company with 80% of its equity owned by previously disadvantaged individuals. It was established in 1996 and supplied a number of municipalities with steel refuse containers. These included Kempton Park/ Tembisa MSS, Greater Germiston TLC, Boksburg Town Council, Lethabong MLC, Devon and Vischkuil Local Area Council (now eThekwini Municipality) and Bethlehem TLC.

The current directors M.T. Boloka, T.T. Ngobeni and J.H.L .Scheepers and I.S. du Plooy have a combined total of over 40 years experience of manufacturing steel refuse containers. Their production team is also well trained and experienced in container manufacture and repair.





I’Bini has acquired factory premises in Kempton Park and has available, welding machines grinding and spray painting equipment. It also has the use of one or more trucks with cranes for delivery and off loading of refuse containers.


This will ensure that products will be supplied timeously and to the required specification and quality standards. As a measure of the capabilities of its staff, in June of 2004 I’Bini manufactured for Pikitup 336 skips in 6 weeks.
